Slate Steeple Restoration, Weathervane Restoration
The steeplejacks of ACSC restored the slate covered spire on the Presbyterian Church, replacing the deteriorated hip flashings, so that the steeple will be secure and waterproof. The weathervane was part of the scope of work, requiring that we remove it for restoration by a tinsmith artisan designated by the client. When restored, we reinstalled the weathervane and performed incidental painting and repairs throughout.
